APPEARANCE:
Deep garnet colour, almost pitch black, with ruby hues.
NOSE:
Warm notes of leather, cherry in kirsch and ripe black plum followed by black pepper, vanilla notes and hint of tar.
PALATE:
Round, powerful with well-balanced tannins, this full body wine displays notes of dark fruits (plum, cherry, blackcurrant) combined with a savoury panel of soft spices such as liquorice, clove, black pepper and nutmeg. The final if long, dry and so powerful.
FOOD PAIRING:
Osso Bucco, T Bone, Lasagnas.
SERVING TEMPERATURE:
Slightly chilled at 16°C
