APPEARANCE:
Deep garnet colour with important brownish hints.
NOSE:
Spiced ripe plum, cherry in kirsch and crushed cassis are followed by touches of tree moss and smoke, delicate oakiness, soft spices and vanilla.
PALATE:
Amazingly smooth with soft tannins, this full body wine displays notes of redcurrant and dried blackberry combined to liquorice, tar and mocha. A surprisingly fresh peppery finish is closing the carrousel of aromas.
FOOD PAIRING:
Tomato meatballs with rosemary, Ostrich steak, Frankfurt sausage.
SERVING TEMPERATURE:
Slightly chilled at 15°C
