APPEARANCE:
Deep purplish colour with garnet hints.

NOSE:
Powerful nose of spiced ripe plum, jammy raspberry, crushed black and redcurrant followed by lots of liquorice, anise, smoke and roast coffee notes.

PALATE:
Warm and mouth filling, strong chocolate notes followed by black pepper, spicy black plum and toasty oak. The entrance is tense, intense, with medium tannins and a persistent bouquet of spicy black fruits, followed by a smoky final.

FOOD PAIRING:
Jerky beef, smoked ham, Andouillette

Slightly chilled at 15°C
